Strictly Mini Movers

Our Strictly Mini Movers classes teach your 3-6 year old the fundamental basics of Latin and Ballroom dancing in a fun and engaging environment. Our teachers create a safe and supportive environment for your child to explore these dance styles in greater depth. If you’d like to learn more about these classes, then please get in touch. Gaining Strength & Technique

Dance is not only a great way to build your child’s confidence, it’s also a great source of mental and physical exercise. Through these classes, students’ stamina increases, as well as their ability to learn and remember choreography. This in turn helps their logical and problem-solving abilities, recalling information to find the right answer. All the while, they are playing and improving their precision and technical ability. Also, if your child is showing an interest in our competition classes, this is a great way to build up their knowledge and capability for pair and formation dances.

Engaging & Fun Learning

Establishing the technique and skill of dance while encouraging the fun and expression it requires helps your child grow. Both their confidence and communication skills increase, understanding new information and questioning it in a supportive space. It also helps shyer children feel heard as, often, words are not necessary to let emotion and passion flow.

Fabulous Dance academy run by Ben Jones and Strictly’s Amy Dowden. Atmosphere is so friendly and has a great family feel. The teachers get the best out of their students by making the lessons such fun in such a relaxed environment. Such a wonderful dance school. My 5 year old daughter has started Amy’s Thursday evening class for kids and absolutely loves it. Amy is such a lovely lady and a fantastic teacher. I can genuinely say that Art in Motion is an absolutely fantastic school. The teaching staff are awesome, they don't just talk the talk, these guys can walk the walk! There's very much a family feel to the school where staff really do care about every single student, they know how to get the best out of the students, you can just feel the energy in the school, always a hive of activity, the place really is buzzing. From very young to, dare I say.... senior lol, the teachers give their all across all age ranges and abilities.
